वैश्यवाणी समाज बोरिवली या संस्थेची स्थापना श्री विजय रामचंद्र गांधी आणि श्री प्रवीण रेडिज यांच्या कल्पनेतून संस्था स्थापन करण्याचा विचार झाला.या मागचा उद्देश असा की, आपण सर्व समाजबांधव मूळ मुंबईचे रहिवाशी काळांतराने बोरिवली उपनगरात स्थायिक झालो. कुणाचाही एकमेकांशी परिचय नव्‍हता. एकमेकांशी परिचय वाढवून संकटकाळी एकमेकांना मदत करणे सुख दुःखमाध्ये सहभागी होणे हा उद्देश ठेवून संस्था स्थापना करायला सुरू झाली ते म्हणजे असे की बोरिवली येथिल प्रतेक इमारतीमध्ये जाऊन समाज बांधवांचा शोध घेत असता आम्ही राहत असलेल्या बोरिवली पूर्व मागाठाणे विभागातच ४० समाजबांधव सहभागी झाले प्रथम बोरिवली पूर्व शिवसेना मागाठाणे शाखेत १९९० साली पहिली सभा घेतली त्या वेळीच अनौपचारिक संस्थेची स्थापना झाली.
जमलेल्या संभासदानपैकी मान्यवर सभासद श्री शरद शंकर माजलेकर यांनी दर महिन्याचा शेवटच्या रविवारी सभा घ्यायची अशी सूचना मांडली त्या प्रमाणे दर महिन्याच्या शेवटच्या रविवारी सभा घेऊ लागले त्या सभेसाठी लागणार खर्च श्री दत्तात्रय शेटये यांच्या सुचणेप्रमाणे संभासदांच्या मान्यतेप्रमाणे प्रतेक संभासदाने सभा खर्च म्हणून २ रु वर्गणी द्यायची. सर्वसाधारण वार्षिक सभासद फी १२रु तहाहयात फी १२५रु घ्यायचे ठरले. दुसऱ्या सभेमध्ये श्री शरद माजलेकर यांनी घटना तयार करण्याची सूचना केली. त्या सर्वांच्या विचाराने घटना तयार झाली. नंतर धर्मादाय आयुक्त मुंबई ( वरळी ) यांच्याकडे घटनेची नोंद करून संस्थेची रीतसर १९९३ साली स्थापना झाली. संस्था स्थापनेची बातमी संपूर्ण बोरिवली विभागात पसरली. सभासद संख्या ४५० झाली, कालांतराने मासिक फी बंद झाली व तहाहयात फी २५० रु करण्यात आली. तीच तहाहयात फी ५०० रु झाली.
सुरुवातीला नॅशनल पार्क ( संजय गांधी उद्यान ) बोरिवली येथे भव्य स्नेह मेळावा आयोजित केला होता त्या कार्यक्रमाला सर्व संभासदांच्या व कार्यकारी मंडळातील कार्यकर्त्यांच्या कुटुंबाने सहभाग घेऊन आनंद लुटला त्याच मेळाव्याच्या कार्यक्रमात मुलांच्या वक्तृत्वस्पर्धा महिलांचा तिळगूळ समारंभ आयोजित करणे विद्यार्थी गुण गौरव तसेच वधूवर मेळावे दर वर्षी आयोजित करण्याचा ठराव सर्वानुमते सम्मत करण्यात आला. त्यासाठी प्रतेक कामाची समिति नेमण्यात आली.
प्रथम वधू-वर सूचक समितीने वधू-वरांची नोंद करण्यासाठी कार्यालय वापरण्यास दिली. त्यांनी संस्थेकडून जागेचे भाडे व लाइट बिल न घेता उदारमनाने संस्थेला सहकार्य केले. संस्थेने त्या जागेचा १५ वर्षे वापर केला नंतर निखारगे यांच्या स्टेशन जवळ असणाऱ्या कार्यालयातच दर रविवारी वधू-वर मंडळाचे कार्यालय म्हणून काहीच मोबदला न घेता वापरण्यास दिले संस्थेचा कारभार वाढू लागला. स्वतच्या कार्यालयाची गरज भासू लागली संस्थेच्या सर्व संभासदानी जागेसाठी अतोनात प्रयत्न केले सुदैवाने वझीरा नाका कोळीवाडी बोरिवली (प.) येथे जागा विकत घेतली आज आम्हाला अत्यानंद न्हवे तर सार्थ अभिमान वाटतो अभिमान अश्यासाठी की इतक्या अल्प अवधीत संस्थेने इतकी लक्षणीय प्रगती करावी ही अभिमानाची गोष्ट आहे याचे श्रेय समाज बांधव व कार्यकर्त्यांना जाते.
आज वधू-वर संस्थांच्या बाबतीत बोलायचे झाले तर आमच्या संस्थेच्या कार्यकर्त्यांनी आज तागायत वधू-वरांचे कार्यालय नियमितपणे चालू ठेवले आहे. मुंबई मध्ये आज प्रायवेट वधू-वर सुचक संस्था भरपूर प्रमाणात चालू झाल्या आहेत. काही ठिकाणी ऑनलाइन नोंदणी चालू झाली आहे आजच्या काळात त्यांची फार गरज आहे कारण वधू-वराच्या पालकांचा वेळ वाचतो. म्हणून यांच्या संस्थेने ऑनलाइन पद्धत चालू करण्याचे निश्चित केले आहे तेव्हा सर्व समाज बांधवांनी आम्हाला सहकार्य करावे.
Vaishivani Samaj Borivali was founded by Shri Vijay Ramchandra Gandhi and Shri Praveen V. Redij The idea of establishing an organization came from Redij's imagination. The purpose behind this was to hope that all our community members, natives of Mumbai, eventually settled in Borivali suburbs. No one knew each other. The organization started to be established with the aim of helping each other in times of crisis by getting to know each other and participating in happiness and sorrow. 40 members of the society participated in Borivali East Magathane Division where we were staying. First in Borivali East Shiv Magathane Branch In 1990, when the first meeting was held, the informal organization was established.
Honorable member Shri Sharad Shankar Majlekar from the gathering As suggested that the meeting should be held on the last Sunday of every month, the meeting started to be held on the last Sunday of every month Expenses As suggested by Mr. Dattatray Shetye, as per the approval of the members, each member should contribute Rs. 2 as meeting expenses.It was decided to charge a general annual membership fee of Rs.12 and a fee of Rs.125. In the second meeting, Shri Sharad Manjlekar suggested to prepare constitution. The event was created with all of them in mind. Later, the organization was formally established in 1993 after registering the incident with the Charity Commissioner, Mumbai (Worli).The news of establishment of the organization spread throughout Borivali Division. The number of members increased to 450, over time the monthly fee was discontinued and the monthly fee was reduced to Rs.125 The fee for the same trip became Rs 500.
Initially, a grand affection gathering was organized at the National Park (Sanjay Gandhi Udyan) Borivali, where the families of all the MPs and Executive Board workers attended the event. Participated and enjoyed in the same gathering program Children's Elocution Competition Organizing Women's Tilgul Ceremony Student Merit Awards as well as bride-groom gatherings organized every year The resolution was unanimously agreed to. A committee was appointed for each task.
First, the Bride-groom Index Committee allowed use of the office to register bride-grooms. He generously supported the organization without taking rent or light bill from the organization.The organization used that place for 15 years, after which Nikharange's office near the station was allowed to be used as the office of the Bride and Groom Board every Sunday without any payment and the organization's business began to grow. The need for their own office was felt. All the members of the organization tried hard for space. Fortunately, they bought a space at Wazira Naka Koliwadi Borivali (W). Today we feel proud, if not exhilarating, because it is not possible to be proud that the organization has made such significant progress in such a short period of time.
Talking about bride and groom organizations today, the workers of our organization have continued the office of bride and groom regularly till today. Private bride-groom referral agencies have started in abundance in Mumbai today.
